Building project
St. Jacobi church is one of the five most important protestant churches in Hamburg. After considerable damages as a result of World War II extensive reconstructions and restaurations were required. Nowadays it represents one of a few well-preserved medieval buildings in the downtown area of Hamburg.
For the preservation of the church Guericke Ingenieurgesellschaft made an expertise about the stability of the building and a monitoring in several areas.
